Community Development Meeting
Join us for our November Community Development Meeting
as we welcome Bonnie Holman, Career & Technical Education Supervisor at Wilson County Schools.

Career Technical Education (CTE) is an integral part of Wilson County Schools, preparing students to be college and career ready upon graduation. Each high school offers a variety of programs designed to provide real-world skills and pathways to success.
Currently, there are 121 courses taught by 82 dedicated instructors, with 20 Industry Certifications available to students. In addition to coursework, students participate in Career Technical Student Organizations (CTSO) connected to state and national chapters. These organizations consistently achieve top rankings across Tennessee, with students earning state and national awards year after year.
This month’s program will highlight how CTE is helping build a strong, skilled local workforce and how the business community can continue to support and collaborate with these programs.

Seats fill up fast so be sure to get your ticket soon.
Seating is limited - we ask that you RSVP in advance so we can monitor space requirements.
PLEASE NOTE: If WCS are closed due to inclement weather, programs starting prior to 11:00 AM will be cancelled. Cancellation for programs starting after 11:00 will be determined not later than the morning of the program.
