Join us in celebrating the 130th Anniversary of The Andrew Jackson Foundation. Originally named the Ladies’ Hermitage Association, the Foundation is one of the oldest women’s organizations and historic preservation organizations in the country. We invite the community to help us celebrate our founding and 130 years of continuing work with an evening at Vanderbilt University’s John Seigenthaler Center. A panel of historians, preservationists and past Foundation Board members, moderated by former Foundation Regent, The Honorable Emily J. Reynolds, will share stories of the women who preserved Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage and how their work helped blaze a trail for women activists and preservation in the United States.
